The LPI is based on the five practices of leadership outlined
by James Kouzes and Barry Posner*. The five distinct practices
that Kouzes and Posner have identified each consist of two strategies:
- Challenging the Process
- Searching for opportunities
- Experimenting and taking risks
- Sharing an Inspired Vision
- Envisioning the future
- Enlisting others
- Enabling Others to act
- Fostering collaboration
- Strengthening others
- Modeling the Way
- Setting the Example
- Achieving small wins
- Encouraging the Heart
- Recognizing individual contributions
- Celebrating team accomplishments
These five practices and their accompanying strategies are a learnable
set of behaviors. The LPI enables you to evaluate and significantly
improve your leadership skills.
Participants obtain “360º” feedback from:
- Themselves
- Direct Reports
- Managers
- Coworkers/peers
- Colleagues outside the organization
We tabulate all of the data and provide you with a comprehensive
report. Our follow-up includes both written observation and recommendation.
Executive coaching is also available.
